“BodyWorks” Figurative Paintings and Drawings
Hi…. I’m Pauline! People, their expressions, colour, light, shadow…… and how they affect one another….it’s all fascinating and I love to capture all these elements in a painting. I paint in oils, watercolour, pastels, and many drawing mediums…. I am often commissioned to paint portraits, sometimes nude portraits…. even portraits of lovers together. I confess I am a hopeless romantic!
I endeavour to paint every single day….. if I don’t, I feel that I have wasted the whole day. And besides…. I don’t want to go to my grave with my paintings still inside me…. or to have any paint left over!
